Description

Addressing the Immunization Research-to-Policy gap in Canada: collaborative development of an integration pathway to assist strategic planning

Maximizing the impact of immunization programs requires timely and effective translation of monitoring, evaluation and research findings into policy and practice, yet this is not always the case in Canada. We used Concept Mapping to elicit, organize, and produce a visual representation of stakeholders’ perceptions on actions needed to enhance research-to-policy integration in this field. The pathway generated provides a shared vision on how to shape and direct future efforts in this area.
